Veolia’s realtime monitoring system, Hubgrade, achieved large-scale energy savings and reduced CO2 emissions.
Real time energy monitoring analyses energy consumption trends with deviations identified and acted upon immediately.
The challenge
Introduce a formalised energy management plan for eBay’s European Customer Service Centre in Dublin to improve the building’s operational efficiency and reduce costs.
The solution
Veolia installed our Hubgrade Energy Management System at eBay’s office in Dublin. The smart management system combines data analysis, intelligence and interactivity to measure, monitor and control the efficiency of buildings and infrastructure.
The system also identifies significant energy users, comparing them with pre-determined key performance indicators to track energy performance and efficiency.
The Hard Services Facilities Maintenance team on site implements planned and reactive maintenance using reports from Hubgrade.
Value delivered
Hubgrade delivered a 16% reduction in electricity usage, a 13% reduction in gas usage and 14% less water consumption in the first 6 months.
174 tonnes of CO2 is saved annually and eBay is certified with ISO 50001 for energy management.
