Veolia's 2020 International Health and Safety Week, which ran from 14-18 September, focused on raising awareness of behaviour reduces risk.
Across the UK and Ireland Zone, Veolia employees engaged in a series of exercises to focus on identifying hazards on sites to help raise awareness of all risks, large and small. For employees working from home or working remotely, there was a virtual exercise that could be carried out via our online learning management platform.
In addition to identifying work related hazards, Veolia in Northern Ireland also partnered once again with Cancer Focus Northern Ireland to bring our staff their award-winning Stop Smoking Support Service.
Lee Foster, who works with Veolia in Belfast, has used Cancer Focus Northern Ireland's Stop Smoking 12 week programme to help him quit smoking for good.
